We are looking to add a Supply Chain Intern to our team for the summer. If you enjoy working in a fast-pace startup environment and are passionate about leading-edge hardware for satellites spacecraft and aerospace systems we would like to hear from you.
As a Supply Chain Intern you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain management while supporting the daily operations of our organization. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in supply chain management or logistics.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with indirect procurement activities to support the business operations
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records
- Collect analyze and summarize supply chain data to identify trends patterns and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to the supply chain team.
- Track supply chain effectiveness efficiency and opportunities
- Assist with inventory management by supporting the tracking monitoring and analysis of inventory
- Provide general administrative support to the supply chain team including maintaining documentation organizing files and participating in meetings.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science (BS) Master of Science (MS) or PhD program in supply chain management logistics operations management or a related field at an accredited university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
- Great project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts and principles is a plus.
