Adjunct Instructor Acting for Animators
The Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) is seeking a Part Time Adjunct Instructor for our Animation Department to teach Acting for Animators an acting class that focuses on how the lessons of acting can heighten the performance of animation. This class introduces students to Improv and Mimicry through acting exercises and the application of those skills into the production of reference sequences and/or puppetry explorations. The focus of the instructor is on teaching acting and improv. No prior animation or puppetry production experience is required. However the instructor should feel comfortable with analyzing the acting in a variety of animated and puppetry content. This course is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30pm to 6:15pm.
Position: Adjunct Instructor part-time
Qualifications: An MFA in Acting and previous teaching experience preferred.
