DescriptionPosition Summary:
Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor the Shipping/Receiving Clerk will assist in keeping accurate inventory counts and records ensure the system inventory in the WMS matches the physical inventory stored at the facility and assist with all shipping procedures. This requires the individual to utilize various inventory control and shipping systems and frequently interact with warehouse personnel and carriers.
***This is for a brand new operation in Tampa FL. New hire orientation is tentatively scheduled for December 1st 2025***

Major Responsibilities:
- Control the flow of work within the facility to meet receiving and shipping departure times while maintaining accuracy and KPI commitments
- Requirement for customer service acumen as the position is customer facing
- Experience with drivers/BOLs/Document handling preferred
- Experience with daily scheduling of loads preferred
- Ensuring system count matches physical inventory
- Resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level
- Must have knowledge of computers and ability to learn WMS Wave Planning and various internal applications
- Must be able to multi-task in a high paced environment while being detail oriented
- Must be able to prioritize and adjust to immediate workload requirements
- Assist with daily/weekly operational reports
- Ability to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
- Leads & complies with Safety and Well Being efforts on assigned shift
- Work as a member of a team accomplish team goals and meet warehouse metrics
- Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor
QualificationsQualifications:
2 years of general office experience required
1 year of customer service experience required
High School diploma or equivalent required
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint required
AS400 experience preferred
Regular predictable full attendance is an essential function of the job
