Mechanical Hydraulic Engineer
Location: Houston TX
Permanent/Direct Hire Opportunity
Were seeking a seasoned engineer with a passion for hydraulic technology and a knack for solving complex mechanical challenges. This role centers on designing and optimizing hydraulic control systems for actuator applications supporting production and sales teams and ensuring seamless system performance from concept to field deployment. This role will work fully on site in the Houston office.
Responsibilities- Develop detailed hydraulic control systems using CAD tools focusing on actuator functionality and integration with electronic controls.
- Coordinate with engineering production and project management teams to ensure hydraulic systems are effectively implemented across all phases of development.
- Use modeling tools to simulate hydraulic behavior analyze system data and refine designs to meet stringent performance and compliance standards.
- Conduct hands-on testing to verify system reliability safety and adherence to industry regulations.
- Create proactive maintenance schedules for installed systems to ensure long-term operational efficiency.
- Serve as a technical resource for sales and support teams helping to resolve customer inquiries and provide expert guidance on hydraulic solutions.
Requirements- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- At least 5 years of direct experience in hydraulic system design actuator integration and component selection
- Strong command of fluid dynamics and mechanical systems
- Skilled in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Familiarity with hydraulic components like solenoids valves and accumulators
- Experience integrating systems with PLCs and electronic controllers
- Adept at diagnosing and resolving engineering challenges with creativity and precision.
Compensation: $110000 - $130000
