Kickstart your Valuation career with our comprehensive Graduate scheme.  Designed specifically for graduates this programme is up to 24 months long and provides you with the opportunity to work with market leaders and specialists in the Plant & Equipment Valuation field who will share invaluable knowledge and experience with you. As part of our Real Estate department youll spend 24 months immersed within our Valuation team gaining hands-on experience. This includes exposure to Red Book valuations for both financial and insurance purposes working across variety of asset classes and sectors across UK and EMEA which presents the opportunity to travel. 

What Youll Do

As a Graduate Valuation Surveyor within our Plant & Equipment team you will be responsible for a range of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Conducting asset inspections and undertaking surveys.
  • Preparing detailed valuation reports.
  • Assisting with the preparation of replacement cost assessments.
  • Communicating with clients and stakeholders.
  • Supporting wider CBRE valuation team on projects.

Qualifications :

  • Academic Credentials: You will need to be studying an RICS accredited degree or master conversion in Real Estate (achieved or on track for a 2:1 minimum). Or non-cognate students studying a Maths Economics Finance Tax Business Studies Legal are also welcome to apply (achieved or on track for a 2:1 minimum).
  • Non-cognate pathway: Students will still complete their APC within the 2-year timeframe like the other graduates but in addition they will complete a part-time RICS accredited Masters over the 2 years fully funded by CBRE.
  • Technical Acumen: A genuine interest in the real estate and built environment coupled with an interest in the mechanical workings of a site or plant.
  • Essential Skills:
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • A proactive and detail-oriented approach with a strong work ethic and initiative.

Other Requirements

In some regional roles the ability to drive may be necessary due to the location of client offices.

To be considered for roles in the Defence arena you will need to pass both a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and UKSV SC clearance. This process will begin once youve accepted an offer and confirmed your willingness to undergo the checks.
