Marketing Manager
Snow Valley Ski Club is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing communications and sponsorship
initiatives year-round.
Located in Edmonton Snow Valley operates a small but vibrant urban ski hill welcoming over 100000 skier visits each
winter as well as a popular summer destination featuring Rainbow Valley Campground glamping domes several summer
attractions including an aerial adventure tower and a wedding event facility.
Reporting to the General Manager this full-time salaried position includes an excellent benefit program flexible schedule
and skiing benefits including at mountain resorts. The Manager supervises the Marketing Coordinator along with seasonal
event staff.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and Lead Marketing Strategy Develop and execute seasonal marketing and communications plans for all
Snow Valley operations balancing winter skier engagement with summer attraction growth.
Oversee Branding Media and Sponsorship Manage Snow Valleys public image advertising media relations
and partnership programs including digital campaigns print materials and on-site signage.
Coordinate Events and Team Leadership Support community and promotional events while mentoring and
managing the Marketing & Communications Coordinator to deliver high-quality creative and operational
outcomes.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Marketing Communications Public Relations or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of marketing or communications experience preferably in recreation ski or hospitality/tourism
industry.
Strong campaign management skills.
Excellent communication leadership and organizational abilities.
