Job Summary
Shift: Day Shift full time
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our dealers distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a 5ton cube truck. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service.
- Perform pre & post-trip inspections thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
- Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed
- Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
- Verify entire content loads prior to leaving manufacturing facility or job site
- Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods
- Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with overtime as neededÂ
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Valid Class5
- 2 years commercial truck driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs / 2 man lifting
- Multi-drop delivery experience a plus
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Ability to plan and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions
