Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Overnight Cleaner! This position requires the ability to overnight prior experience is preferred.

The Kitchen Overnight Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the hotels kitchen and bar areas during the overnight shift. This includes deep cleaning all equipment surfaces and floors ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and assisting with minor maintenance issues. This position plays a key role in supporting both the Maintenance and Culinary teams by ensuring a spotless safe and fully operational environment before the start of each service day.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform thorough nightly cleaning of all kitchen and bar areas including equipment counters walls and floors.
• Sweep mop and vacuum all kitchen and bar floors to maintain cleanliness and prevent buildup of grease or debris.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms used by staff including sinks toilets and mirrors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins replace liners and ensure proper waste disposal procedures are followed.
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen prep areas dish stations and bar countertops in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Deep-clean and maintain all kitchen and bar equipment including ovens fryers refrigerators and beverage machines.
• Maintain outdoor areas directly connected to kitchen or bar access including back service area.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify the Maintenance Supervisor when inventory is low.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs cleaning freezer or refrigeration coils tightening loose fixtures or addressing small leaks.
• Identify and report any maintenance or safety concerns (e.g. broken tiles faulty outlets water leaks or equipment malfunctions) to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Follow all chemical handling and cleaning safety procedures.
• Adhere to all OSHA and health department sanitation requirements.
• Assist with other overnight maintenance projects as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
