- Oversee and provide health services to residents at Ivy Gables.
- Educate and empower staff to emulate the concepts of independent and supportive living. Delegate specific wellness tasks to the Wellness Department Staff. Develop and implement wellness policies and procedures to create the ultimate care experience.
- Proactively drive the development implementation and maintenance of the Wellness Center infrastructure.
- Orientation training and mentoring program for staff.
- Performance management of staff.
- Quality standards and procedures for Wellness Center service that meets all local state and federal regulations.
Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current valid nursing license in the State of Delaware.
- CPR certification.
- Three to five years of geriatric long-term or home care nursing experience preferred.
- Must be experienced with Alzheimers and other memory impairments.
- Ongoing training on Alzheimers and other memory impairments.
- Ensure training requirements are met to maintain Nursing and/or Administrative licensure.
