Job Summary
Embark on a rewarding journey with our team as a Bartender a key player in our vibrant establishment you will not just serve drinks; you will be the curator of heartfelt moments an alchemist of flavors and the heartbeat of our social haven.
- Be thoroughly familiar with beverage and wine.
- Be familiar with and follow all standard of beverage recipes and adhere to the established pour policy without deviations.
- Operate within full compliance of state liquor laws and regulations. Be thoroughly familiar with DWI prevention procedures and techniques.
- All liquor beer wine and non-alcoholic beverages must be prechecked prior to serving when not a hosted function and all charges going to the master account.
- Follow established requisitioning procedures for the banquet bar set up.
- Bar areas are to be properly secured and locked at the end of the shift.
- Set up banquet bars utilizing banquet beverage requisition for assigned function per BEO
- Prepare fruit (garnish) tray and make sure the bar has all mixers and equipment such as pourers strainer shaker etc. to prepare drinks properly.
- At the end of the function return stock counts for all beverages
- Clean banquet bar and equipment at the end of the function before returning them to the storage area.
- Never leave the bar unattended and always maintain a professional posture.
The starting pay rate for this position is $30.00 per hour plus tips. This is the pay rate for this position that Solage reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors such as experience and education.
Qualifications :
- One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.
- Good knowledge of spirits beer and wine. Experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.
- Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
- Superior professional appearance and manner good character to work in a fast-paced team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays according to department needs.
- Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications as applicable to the position.
