Experienced Strategy Consultant in Energy Transition

We are seeking an experienced strategy consultant with deep Energy Industry expertise. Passionate for navigating and driving a sustainable green energy transition. You will join our Global Energy team as well as our local Swedish community within Ramboll Management Consulting working with Rambolls key clients in the Energy space.  

The role 
As a Manager/Senior Manager in the Global Energy team you will work in the front line helping Energy companies develop strategies and solutions to pursue opportunities and tackle the complexity of the energy transition.  

The role involves working with local and global clients leading strategy projects ensuring further development and success in developing energy transformation & strategies across the private and public sector. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the wider Ramboll community integrating technical sustainability and resilience expertise into project doing so you will drive successful transformation to create value for clients. 

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: 

• Driving opportunities growth and development in Power systems Power-to-X flexibility and balancing BESS CCUS and similar areas leading activities in Sweden and the Northern European Market. 
• Strengthening our business strategy capabilities with a dedicated focus on energy utilities. 
• Leading strategic assignments such as market entry strategies market assessments business case assessments energy system transition roadmaps investment prioritization or policy and regulatory assessments. 
• Key account management and business development 
• Building long-term client relations utilizing Rambolls existing Key Account setup and your own network to expand and deepen client relationships. 
• Further build and develop the team including coaching mentoring and capability building and driving career development for junior team members 
• Ensuring project delivery with a focus on client management quality assurance and building deep long-term relationships that position Ramboll as the strategic partner. 
• Collaborating with Rambolls engineering sustainability resilience and EHS experts to bring technical depth and deliver integrated cross-disciplinary energy transition solutions

For this role we believe your starting point is: 

• 5-10 years of experience in management consulting preferably with a background from top-tier strategy or energy transition consulting. 
• Proven track record of leading and managing projects and clients in the Energy space 
• Extensive experience in one or more key areas of the energy transition such as renewable energy power systems CCUS district heating bioenergy Power-to-X or energy storage. 
• Proven consulting experience in leading and building client accounts and teams. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills for driving progress and succeeding through teamwork 
• A reliable solution-oriented and structured approach to work with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
