Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities within a Gas-Power Plant. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance and lead a team of technicians and engineers. This role requires strong technical expertise leadership skills and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities
- Plan organize and supervise all maintenance operations in the Gas-Power Plant.
- Ensure timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Manage and lead maintenance teams including technicians and engineers.
- Coordinate with operations and engineering departments to optimize equipment performance.
- Maintain compliance with Romanian and EU safety and environmental regulations.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage maintenance budgets spare parts inventory and procurement processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.
- Support audits inspections and emergency response planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial or power plant maintenance with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices for thermal or combined-cycle power plants.
- Familiarity with Romanian energy regulations and international maintenance standards.
- Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Romanian is required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Certification in reliability engineering or maintenance management is a plus.
