Product Design Lead Send

Youll be joining the squad that defines Send. Youll tackle critical challenges around new customer activation and seamlessly integrating Send with Wises comprehensive account vision transforming customer mindsets from I need to send money overseas to I cant imagine banking elsewhere.

Heres how youll contribute:

• Get to know our customers across the full spectrum from nervous first-time senders to returning account users building deep empathy for their diverse needs and the journey from perfect first transfer to daily account usage.

• Youll help to drive the design strategy and direction within the Send squad shaping current and future work towards our north star while personally leading critical design initiatives.

• Youll use the full range of Product Design skills to discover design and deliver simple beautifully-crafted experiences that customers love while managing and developing a team of 3 designers.

• Youll set a high bar for design excellence producing high-quality work no matter how big or small the task may be and elevating the craft of your team to deliver cohesive experiences.

• Youll collaborate across multiple teams and solve complex problems with cross-functional partners balancing hands-on design execution with strategic leadership.

• Youll actively foster a healthy design team culture shaping our collaborative practices and mentoring budding designers while taking responsibility for team performance and business outcomes.

About you:

• Youve got a portfolio of well-crafted impactful work that solves real problems for real people with experience leading teams and personally delivering exceptional design work.

• Youre both an experienced collaborator and people leader designing in the open leveraging other functions expertise and taking them on the journey with you while developing your team.

• You have strong visual design and interaction design skills with a passion for high quality fit and finish. Youve worked with design systems to produce beautiful and functional design that scales and experience with motion design is a significant plus.

• You practice evidence-based design and can articulate your decisions clearly and credibly while guiding others to do the same.

• Youre comfortable balancing hands-on design execution with team leadership taking responsibility for both your own craft and your teams growth and performance.

• Youre curious about and have experience with generative AI prototyping tools and see the potential for AI to enhance design processes and user experiences.
