Job Description
Create precision designs for mission-critical RF and microwave products. Teledyne Technologies is a leading provider of high-power microwave components for aerospace defense and industrial applications. What youll do
- Prepare detailed layouts and drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies using 2D and 3D software
- Support larger projects involving product structuring and documentation
- Check drawings for compliance with internal and industry standards
- Become proficient in software tools such as SolidWorks Inventor PDM Vault Altium PADs and MasterControl
- Facilitate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and incorporate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Prepare drawings from rough sketches or general instructions and maintain revision control
- Operate plotters printers and scanners to produce hard-copy drawings
- Interface effectively with engineers program managers and staff at all levels
What you need
- 510 years of experience in drafting design or related technical field (required)
- AS degree in Drafting Design or similar (preferred)
- Senior-level experience with SolidWorks Inventor or equivalent (required)
- Knowledge of mechanical drafting/modeling dimensioning and GD&T tolerancing (required)
- Altium/board layout experience (advantage)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required)
- Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens lawful permanent residents refugees and asylees)

Salary Range:
$49300.00-$65700.000Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
