Here at the NRH we have an exciting career opportunity for you to join our team. We are seeking a dynamic enthusiastic and self-motivated pharmacy technician to work with us at the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH).

The new NRH is a state of the art purpose built hospital development. The new NRH involves 120 bedded rehabilitation unit with a live project for electronic health care record and prescribing.

We offer free parking and subsidised meals in the picturesque location between the mountains and the sea in Dun Laoghaire.

This position would suit staff working in retail currently and are looking for a career change or those with a background in hospital and seeking a new challenge in a rehabilitation hospital.

The National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) is the national tertiary referral centre in Ireland providing Complex Specialist Rehabilitation services to adult and paediatric patients from throughout Ireland. At the NRH services are delivered to patients who as a result of an accident illness or injury have acquired a physical or cognitive disability or both and require a specialist interdisciplinary programme of rehabilitation. Rehabilitation Programmes at the NRH are delivered by Consultant-led Interdisciplinary Teams in the following areas of specialty:

Brain Injury (including traumatic and non-traumatic brain injury and Stroke or other neurological conditions)

Spinal Cord System of Care (including traumatic and non-traumatic spinal cord injury)

Prosthetic Orthotic and Limb Absence Rehabilitation (POLAR)

Paediatric Family-Centred Programme

Services at the NRH are accredited by CARF (Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) an internationally recognised independent accreditation system.

The candidate must on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office possess:

(a) the Pharmaceutical Technicians Diploma awarded by the Technological University of Dublin or another Technological University

or

(b) a recognised pharmacy technician qualification
