Your role as Junior Supply Chain Analyst

As a Junior Supply Chain Analyst at Fresh Solutions you will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making and enhancing the efficiency of our international supply chain operations. Youll collaborate with colleagues from Operations Quality Commercial IT and Logistics to analyze data identify opportunities and help optimize processes across the supply chain. This role offers the perfect opportunity to develop strong analytical and operational skills in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will be exposed to a mix of analytical work process reviews and improvement projects that drive measurable impact across our logistics and planning functions. With a focus on data insights and continuous improvement youll contribute to shaping the future of our supply chain strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze supply chain flows and operational data across multiple distribution centers (DCs) to identify inefficiencies stock imbalances and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support process improvement initiatives by collecting and interpreting data related to machine efficiency material usage and storage optimization.
• Contribute to the implementation and tracking of optimization tools such as mobile scanning systems to reduce errors and improve processing time.
• Build and maintain dashboards and KPI reports that enable data-driven decision-making .
• Work closely with cross-functional teamsincluding production planning logistics and purchasingto ensure data accuracy and consistent processes.
• Support compliance and documentation processes by liaising with customs and external logistics partners when required.
• Assist in reporting structures and data standards across DCs to drive efficiency and transparency.
• Stay up to date with emerging supply chain technologies and analytics tools and propose ways to apply them within Fresh Solutions.

What you bring

• Bachelors or masters degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Analytics or a related field.
• Practical experience (internships student jobs) in supply chain logistics or data analysis is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills especially in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI ERP or WMS systems is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (German is an advantage).
• As our location is based in Waddinxveen it is important that you are eligible to work in the Netherlands without visa sponsorship (both now and in the future) and that you have your own means of transport as the site is not easily accessible by public transport.
