Job Summary
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase materials supplies and equipment according to company needs
- Monitor inventory levels and create purchase orders
- Forecast future inventory requirements
- Negotiate with suppliers for best prices and terms
- Track deliveries and resolve any supply chain issues
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Analyze market and supply trends
- Ensure quality standards are met for purchased materials
- Coordinate with production warehouse and other departments
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in purchasing or planning
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Experience with inventory management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (APICS CPSM etc.)
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations
- Multiple language capabilities
