Job Summary

VAL-CO a leader in commercial poultry egg and swine production equipment specializing in world-famous poultry watering and feeding systems is currently looking for a Shipper holding a class A CDL at the Coldwater Ohio facility.

Scheduled Hours are 6:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities include:

Moving spot trucks and trailers
Communicating with the Supervisor on status orders
Prepare Organize stage properly load and distribute weight of containers
Check that orders are safely packaged and loaded to prevent damage during shipment.
Follow all safety requirements and keep area neat and orderly.

Requirements:

Ability to complete forklift training upon hire (onsite training)
Valid Class A CDL
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. repetitively throughout an 8-hr. shift
Ability to read comprehend and write English
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
Must be able to use appropriate tools required for the job. (tape measure hammer saw bander weigh scale air stapler stretch film dispensers tape dispenser etc.)
Must be able to operate computer
