JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Penn State Berkey Creamery is seeking a Penn State student for a part-time social media internship for one of our Universitys most beloved entities. This position will primarily assist with the planning development and implementation of content for Creamery social channels that promote products boost sales across the storefront ecommerce and wholesale divisions and elevate engagement across all platforms. The intern will contribute to content through a range of activities that occur at the Creamery store and off-site campus locations. The intern will report to and work closely with the Creamery Marketing Strategy Specialist under the College of Agricultural Sciences and in collaboration and cooperation with Creamery and College teams. All work will be aligned with our commitment to quality creativity innovation and steadfast protection of the Creamery brand.
This position requires an individual who exhibits excellent communication and time management skills and is highly organized detail-oriented dependable and self-motivated. The ideal candidate will be a Penn State student studying in a marketing communications or advertising related major who has a demonstrated understanding of social media platforms (including but not limited to Facebook Instagram and Twitter). Working knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe Creative suites and demonstrated photo/video editing skills for social media are a plus.
This position is a paid internship starting during fall 2025 with a time commitment of 10-20 hours per week. All interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to apply.
