Job Summary

*Remote Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Java Spring Boot Developer position! This is a 12 month contract opportunity and can be remote in the United States (EST working hours). This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What Youll Be Doing:

Design specify and develop new or existing applications to solve basic to complex problems.
Serve as a principal application designer for major modifications using modern tools and methodologies.
Complete and oversee systems analysis design and development.
Maintain a strong understanding of supported applications and related systems.
Direct and monitor less experienced resources; coordinate tasks across various project sizes.
Prepare and manage technical project plans including scope timeline and effort estimations.
Participate in full systems development lifecycle from technical analysis to user acceptance testing.
Prepare and review test plans test data and perform detailed debugging.
Provide analytical consulting to identify and implement new uses of technology aligned with business strategy.
Develop technical and functional documentation including charts and diagrams.
Recommend new technologies tools or processes to improve operations and efficiency.
Collaborate with other developers business units and technology teams.
Understand and adhere to company risk and regulatory standards and internal controls.

What Youll Need to Have:

Associates degree and 5 years of systems analysis or application development experience OR 7 years of combined education/work experience.
Hands on Java development experience.
Strong expertise in Spring Boot framework.
RESTful API design development and integration experience.
SQL Server experience including experience writing complex queries stored procedures and performance tuning.
Familiarity with application development platforms and tools.
Strong verbal/written communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience coordinating between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Ability to develop technical documentation and system specifications.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.

Pay Range:$55-$70/hr
