What You Will Achieve

  • The DP Operations Specialist II is responsible for providing detailed technical training to Drug Product work team colleagues.
  • Liaison between work team and maintenance for repairs and preventative maintenance. Develop maintain and train work team colleagues on operator care task sheets.
  • Establish efficient processes monitoring specific results and improve identified process opportunities using Right First Time (RFT) and Lean principles.
  • Maintain manufacturing equipment at optimal operating efficiency. Assist in identifying problems and solutions using Method 1 and Quality Risk Management (QRM).
  • Serve as technical subject matter expert for the work team and Deviation Report Coordinator (DRC) on equipment related deviations.
  • Work with engineering by participating in developing equipment specifications user requirements capital scope development FAT/SAT support and qualification activities.
  • Work with procurement and packaging engineering to monitor component issues and conduct feasibility assessments/line trials as needed.
  • Review non-standard work for technical soundness and may review others work.
  • Adhere to Pfizer standards guidelines and values influencing teams and contributing to developing departmental standards.
  • Monitor and respond to equipment needs adhering to SOPs cGMPs and safety requirements.
  • Adapt standard methods using knowledge and experience assist in training others and improve processes using Right First Time and Lean principles.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 to 5 years of experience and/or training
  • Demonstrated ability to perform various functions of a highly repetitive nature while maintaining concentration on tasks
  • Proven capability to understand and follow written procedures
  • Ability to work independently or in groups effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):

  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related field

  • Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

The salary for this position ranges from $27.41 to $45.69 per addition this position offers eligibility for overtime weekend holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Companys policies.
