What awaits you
This is an opportunity for a talented self-motivated individual to develop their skill set and network in PwC working with experienced Accounting and Finance practitioners across the region.
Main duties in the position:
- registration of intercompany invoices in accordance with the requirements of commercial financial and other departments;
- responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: ITC AP & AR process account allocation reconciliation etc.);
- ensure that everything is accurately recorded on the correct general ledger accounts (GLs) and the appropriate cost centers/job codes;
- monitor the mailbox for all intercompany-related inquiries addressing and handling outstanding balances / reminders reconciliations of intercompany balances and business-related questions;
- prepare payment orders (netting and non-netting);
- coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities;
- ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting;
- communicate with English speaking clients in order to resolve routine queries and problems;
- key attributes for this role include: accuracy effective communication and prompt action.
Requirements:
- undergraduate or graduate degree in finance or economics;
- one/two years of experience in a similar position is an advantage;
- sound knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures;
- good communication skills in English oral and written with the ability to draft and deliver clear messages to clients (B2);
- advanced user of MS Excel;
- ability to think and plan ahead be flexible accurate and quickly shift gears in a dynamic environment to cope with tight deadlines;
- clear and concise communication skills to engage with clients and team members.
