About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join a warm predominantly paediatric multidisciplinary practice on the Mornington Peninsula. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality family-centred care across hub-based and community settings (schools homes and clinics) with approximately 20% adult caseload. Youll use a holistic approach to assess and treat communication language and swallowing needs while collaborating within an experienced integrated team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and individualised treatment plans for children and some adults.
Deliver evidence-based therapy in clinic hubs and community settings (school/home visits).
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support integrated care pathways.
Maintain timely accurate clinical records and uphold client confidentiality.
Prepare clear reports and communicate progress to families and referrers.
Participate in regular supervision team meetings and in-house professional development.
Support a welcoming organised workspace for clients and families.
Maintain current professional registration and indemnity insurance.

Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) registration and professional indemnity insurance.
Strong clinical skills with paediatric experience preferred.
Comfortable working across clinic and community environments (school/home visits).
Excellent communication organisation and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with healthcare software and confidentiality best practice.
Pay Structure (38-hour week; billables set at 5.8 hours/day including travel report writing and non-face-to-face time):
Graduate: $37.10 per hour leave loading super
1 year out: $39.00 per hour leave loading super
2 years out: $41.56 per hour leave loading super
35 years: $42.88 $47.87 per hour leave loading super
5 years: Negotiable based on experience (expertise is valued)
