We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Inspector in the Quality department.

The opportunity:

The Inspector position is an integral role within the TP Aerospace team performing preliminary hidden-damage in-process and inspections on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers instructions for continued airworthiness Service Bulletins Service Letters Airworthiness Directives government and industry standard practices and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.


The primary tasks:

  • Understanding current specifications involving inspection tolerances limitations and procedures established by the manufacturer of the article(s) being inspected.
  • Familiarization with the inspection methods techniques aidstoolsand equipment used withintheassigned area of responsibility.
  • Ensuring that the inspection tools and equipment including inspection aids used to perform inspections are in proper working order and the proper calibration information isaffixed prior to task completion.
  • Ensure all inspections are properly performed and recorded and all records are properly executed before final approval for return to service of articlesmaintainedby this repair Chief Inspector will ensure the inspectors responsibilities are properly performed if theycomplete any task.
  • Maintainingproficiencyin using the inspection aids in their assigned area of responsibility.


Qualifications:

We are seeking an Inspector who can identify with the description below:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to understand readwriteand communicate in English
  • Must make determinations ofaircraftcomponents airworthiness as it relates tothe work performed
  • Aviation experience in FAA Part 145 MRO preferred
