Senior Production Specialist

Ecolab the leading global developer of premium cleaning sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality institutional and industrial markets is seeking a Senior Production Specialist! This role is responsible for timely and accurate data entry quality and inspection of production materials and participating in required Production meetings.

What You Will Do:

• Enters production data accurately into the warehouse management system

• Inspects incoming materials reports damages and discrepancies for accounting and record-keeping purposes

• Tracks departmental data and generates applicable reports as needed

• Works on the plant floor or in the warehouse to research discrepancies

• Recommends implements and promotes measures to improve departmental productivity and efficiencies product quality methods and working conditions to minimize downtime. Follows TPM/continuous improvement principles

• Proactively communicates maintenance needs quality issues or other situations that impact safety quality or productivity to the appropriate functional/department leader

• Assists in training teammates

• Communicates verbally and/or in writing with others

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

• Performs other duties as assigned
  

Position Details:

• Plant location: Garland TX

• Work week and shift: A shift 5:30AM - 1:20PM Monday to Thursday

• Compensation: $27.75 / hour

• Some overtime work may be required for this role
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing or production environment

• Previous SAP experience

• Experience using Microsoft software including Excel and Word

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs

• Must be able to pass a drug screen
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an inventory focused role within an industrial manufacturing environment

• Collaborative and team-orientated

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Good time-management and communication skills
