Automotive Service Technician Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medium Duty Truck Technician to join our team at the Way Scarff Commercial Truck Center. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay benefits and a signing bonus for qualified candidates. Youll work on a variety of vehiclesfrom light-duty trucks to medium-duty commercial vehiclesand play a key role in delivering the quality service our customers have come to expect.
Automotive Service Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of light and medium-duty vehicles.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Use hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with service staff and customers.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of work orders and repairs.
Automotive Service Technician Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an automotive or truck shop environment.
- Solid mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Proven ability to work on commercial trucks and related systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Dealership experience is a plus.
