The KS1 Teacher role core duties
As KS1 Teacher you will deliver high-impact phonics guided reading and early maths sessions. The KS1 Teacher will assess progress plan interventions and communicate with families. The KS1 Teacher will join weekly planning meetings attend CPD around the January 2026 start and contribute to the schools vibrant enrichment programme. This is a Part-Time KS1 Teacher role: the Part-Time KS1 Teacher will be supported with protected planning time and mentoring during January 2026 and beyond.
Candidate profile KS1 Teacher
We seek a KS1 Teacher with QTS and recent experience in Key Stage 1. The KS1 Teacher should be a reflective practitioner with strong phonics expertise and an inclusive classroom approach. The KS1 Teacher will be expected to join pre-term planning and induction sessions before and during the January 2026 start and to teach on a Part-Time basis from the January 2026 start.
