The role in brief
This KS1 Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering daily phonics guided reading and early maths as the KS1 Teacher ensuring high expectations and strong progress. The KS1 Teacher will engage with parents run interventions and take part in school life from January 2026. The appointed KS1 Teacher will be included in pre-term planning attend induction during January 2026 and teach as a Full-Time KS1 Teacher from January 2026.
KS1 Teacher candidate profile
QTS and demonstrable KS1 experience as a KS1 Teacher.
Strong phonics practice and the ability to communicate effectively as the KS1 Teacher.
A collaborative and creative KS1 Teacher committed to inclusion and outcomes for all pupils.
KS1 Teacher practical & start details
This is a Full-Time KS1 Teacher vacancy with a January 2026start. The KS1 Teacher will receive induction in early January 2026 and on-going CPD beyond January 2026. The Full-Time KS1 Teacher will have protected planning time and will be fully supported by phase and senior leaders through January 2026 and into the rest of the school year.
