Job Summary

A high-achieving and inclusive 1118 secondary school in Gloucester is seeking an ambitious and inspirational Physics Teacher to join their thriving Science Faculty from January 2026. About the Role

The successful candidate will teach Physics across KS3KS5 delivering stimulating lessons that inspire curiosity critical thinking and scientific understanding. You will design creative experiment-based learning experiences that help students connect classroom theory with real-world applications while supporting them to achieve strong outcomes in GCSE and A-Level Physics.

In addition to classroom teaching you will play an active role in promoting science beyond the curriculum through STEM clubs robotics and engineering projects and physics competitions encouraging students to apply their learning in exciting hands-on contexts. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of science educators to continually develop schemes of work share best practice and contribute to the departments ongoing success.

Experience and Qualifications

QTS/PGCE and a degree in Physics Engineering or a related discipline
Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Physics is desirable
Strong communication organisational and analytical skills
