About the Role

The appointed teacher will deliver Chemistry lessons across KS3KS5 inspiring students to develop a deep understanding of chemical principles through hands-on experiments analytical thinking and real-world applications. You will guide students through GCSE and A-Level studies helping them achieve exceptional results while fostering curiosity and intellectual independence.

As part of a collaborative team you will contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum integrating innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance learning. Beyond the classroom there are opportunities to get involved in STEM enrichment such as science fairs Olympiads and sustainability projects that extend learning beyond the curriculum.

You will be supported by a dedicated team of laboratory technicians ensuring experiments are delivered efficiently and safely and by experienced colleagues who share best practice and a passion for scientific exploration.

Experience and Qualifications

QTS/PGCE with a degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline
