Job Summary
A high-performing 1118 secondary school in Bristol rated Outstanding by Ofsted is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science ECT to join their dynamic Science Department from January 2026. About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3KS4 with the opportunity to specialise in Biology Chemistry or Physics at KS5 as their confidence grows. You will plan and deliver engaging experiment-based lessons that encourage curiosity independent thinking and practical investigation.
Working closely with experienced colleagues and a supportive Head of Science you will receive structured induction support regular coaching sessions and dedicated PPA time to refine your classroom practice. ECTs are also invited to take part in STEM enrichment such as science clubs competitions and eco-initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications
PGCE with QTS (or pending) in a Science discipline
Strong subject knowledge across Biology Chemistry or Physics
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Passion for inspiring scientific curiosity and confidence
