A leading independent co-educational school in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced and compassionate SENCO to lead their Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provisionfrom January 2026. This is a full-time permanent role for a professional passionate about inclusive education and individualised support.
About the Role
The appointed SENCO will take overall responsibility for the strategic coordination of SEND provision across the school ensuring every pupil receives appropriate support and intervention. You will oversee EHCP management individual education plans and targeted intervention strategies while advising staff on best practice in differentiation and adaptive teaching.
The role also includes mentoring Learning Support Assistants working closely with parents external agencies and the pastoral team to ensure a cohesive child-centred approach.
