About the Role
Were looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing international finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with global teams in the SaaS industry. Reporting to the Accounting Manager you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records ensuring compliance with IFRS and supporting continuous improvement across our accounting operations.
What Youll Do
Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries reconciliations and month-end closing.
Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
Manage treasury operations including payment processing bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
Support external audits by preparing schedules and documentation and assist with tax filings and statutory reporting.
Develop and maintain internal controls accounting policies and procedures across the Group.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FP&A Operations Legal HR) to provide financial insights and business recommendations.
Stay current with changes in accounting standards and contribute to process and system improvements.
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA CMA ACCA or equivalent certification preferred).
Minimum 8 years of accounting experience ideally within a SaaS or international technology company.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and international accounting practices.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills with fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a global team.
Must have legal working status in the European Union.
Nice to Have
Experience with US GAAP and UK GAAP.
Background in multi-entity multi-currency consolidations.
Experience with ERP implementations or process automation (SAP NetSuite or similar).
