Job Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant at Grand Technology located in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial operations preparing financial statements analyzing financial data and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Additionally the Senior Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions including but not limited to: accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and taxes.
Assist with year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
Prepare review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Develop staff by managing performance setting goals providing ongoing training and maintaining strong employee relationships.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. Working towards CPA is an asset.
2 years of progressive accounting experience. Supervisory role is an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.
Strong leadership skills with dedication to driving and achieving results.
Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.
Experience with financial systems such as QuickBooks is an asset.
Proficient in English (at least B1 level).
Proven experience working with QuickBooks accounting software.

Work Conditions:

Working days are from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (on-site).
Friday and Sunday are half working days from home.
Saturday is a full day off.
