We are seeking a motivated and experienced Legal Assistant to join our growing firm.
This position supports a heavy litigation desk and is ideal for a candidate with extensive experience in federal state and appellate court procedures including e-filing trial preparation and in-trial support. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment has superior organizational and communication skills and demonstrates strong initiative and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be a team-oriented professional who can manage complex litigation matters and support attorneys throughout the entire life cycle of a case from intake through post-trial.
REQUIREMENTS:
Provide direct administrative and executive support to the Managing Partner
Manage calendars schedule and coordinate meetings and arrange domestic travel
Maintain high levels of client contact and handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Support client and board meeting logistics including document preparation and follow-up
Accurately proofread draft edit redline and format legal documents with exceptional accuracy
Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems such as iManage or similar platforms
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience supporting high-level legal professionals preferably in Healthcare law
Exposure to Intellectual Property Litigation and Insurance Coverage is a strong plus
Strong proofreading writing and calendaring skills required
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (2010 or higher) Outlook Adobe Pro and Comparite
Familiarity with CompuLaw Best Authority CCC Macros and e-filing in federal and state courts
In-depth understanding of the litigation life cycle and court filing procedures
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION:
$80000 - $95000 base salary
