We are seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Legal Assistant with a minimum of 3 years of experience to support our busy litigation team.
This position supports a heavy litigation desk and is ideal for a candidate with extensive experience in federal state and appellate court procedures including e-filing trial preparation and in-trial support. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment has superior organizational and communication skills and demonstrates strong initiative and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be a team-oriented professional who can manage complex litigation matters and support attorneys throughout the entire life cycle of a case from intake through post-trial.
REQUIREMENTS:
Perform a wide range of litigation support tasks including preparing and e-filing documents in state federal and appellate courts
Assist attorneys with all phases of trial preparation including exhibit binders witness coordination and courtroom logistics
Draft and prepare tables of contents and authorities discovery shells legal correspondence pleadings and motions
Maintain case calendars monitor and ensure compliance with deadlines and coordinate depositions court appearances and other legal proceedings
Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems such as iManage or similar platforms
Familiarity with CompuLaw Best Authority Adobe Pro CCC Macros is a plus
Accurately proofread edit redline and format documents with a high degree of precision
Maintain communication with clients court personnel vendors and opposing counsel as needed
Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys while remaining flexible to assist team members across departments as required
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION:
$80000 - $95000 base salary
