About the role

In this role youll be part of a supportive and dynamic IT team that values curiosity collaboration and a service-first mindset. Youll help our employees stay productive by solving hardware software and network challenges always with a customer-oriented and solution-driven approach.
What youll do
- provide first-line technical support to employees via email or in-person addressing hardware software and network-related issues
- troubleshoot and resolve IT problems including desktop/laptop issues printer malfunctions software installation and configuration problems
- assist in the setup configuration and maintenance of desktops laptops mobile devices and peripherals.
- ensure timely and accurate documentation of all support activities including issue resolution escalation procedures and knowledge base articles
- collaborate with the IT team to test and deploy software updates and security configurations.
- conduct hardware and software inventory management including asset tagging tracking and maintenance
- collaborate with IT team members on projects and initiatives to improve IT infrastructure systems and processes

What youll need
- You are currently enrolled in a university program (Bachelors or Masters) in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field with at least two semesters remaining.
- Strong learning ability and high motivation to quickly understand and adapt to new technical topics.
- Ideally you already have some first experience in IT support through internships student jobs or personal projects.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware operating systems and common software applications.
- Good knowledge and understanding of networking concepts protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
- Very good communication skills able to explain complex technical information clearly and patiently to non-technical employees.
- A strong service mindset with a focus on providing helpful reliable and solution-oriented support.
- Working style: proactive structured and organized with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple requests simultaneously when needed.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) and proficiency in German is a big plus
