Our client is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide in-home therapy services to patients in the Marysville PA area. This role focuses on restoring independence improving functional ability and enhancing the quality of life for patients receiving home health care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments to determine functional levels and develop individualized care plans based on physician orders
Implement treatment programs aimed at improving or restoring independence and physical or cognitive function
Educate patients and family members on therapeutic exercises adaptive equipment and home safety
Design fabricate and train patients in the use of customized adaptive or assistive devices
Reassess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation according to agency policy
Communicate regularly with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary team members
Participate in staff meetings case conferences and agency training programs
Schedule and Shift Details
Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Full-time 40 hours per week (30 units/week)
No holidays weekends or on-call requirements
Travel
Local travel within the assigned service area
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Valid Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) license in Pennsylvania (PA)
Minimum of 1 year of experience in occupational therapy or related healthcare setting
Current AHA BLS certification (ACLS or PALS accepted)
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Strong documentation organizational and communication skills
Preferred
