Job Summary
Title: Linux/Cloud Engineer (Generic title: Senior Platform Engineering/manager)
Location(s): Hybrid Malvern PA
Contract Role: Initial 24 months options to extend - long term contract role
MOI: Video
There will be coding assessment
EST relocation is fine so genuine DL
Should have minimum 5 to 8 years overall (Level 3 role)
- This seems more Linux based but should have windows as well
- GCP and AWS background (EC2 EKS GSK etc)
- Python or go or terraform
- Github
- Need Strong Analytical/Problem solving skills)
- Need well-spoken individual
Responsibilities:
Linux Cloud Compute engineer in the Infrastructure Operations organization.
- Monitor manage and maintain the Linux Compute Storage AWS and GCP resources.
- Administer systems by actively managing patching routine maintenance and backups to include the scheduling and execution of related tasks.
- Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and drive platform improvements.
Qualifications (Minimum 5-8 years):
- At least should have 3-5 years of experience in AWS and Google cloud administration/operations/services such as EC2 EKS GKS Compute Engine.
- Understanding of cross-platform (Windows and Linux) systems within an enterprise environment - preferably Linux.
- Strong experience in scripting languages like Python Go and Terraform for automation/administrative purposes.
- Experience with version control tools such as GitHub.
- Must be a highly motivated individual with strong analytical problem solving and multitasking skills complimenting a passion for learning/sharing information from and with peers.
