Job Summary
Job Description: Automation Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Designing developing and implementing automated tests for web and mobile applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define automation strategies and test cases
- Identifying and troubleshooting defects in the software code
- Creating test plans and scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software products
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to improve overall code quality
- Utilizing automation tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes
- Monitoring test results and reporting on key metrics to stakeholders
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and test automation
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java Python or C#
- Knowledge of testing methodologies tools and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in automation testing
- Previous experience working in an Agile development environment
- Certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB) are a plus
Salary & Benefits:
Salary Range: $90000 - $120000 per year
