Job Title: UI Developer

Location: Malvern PA (Hybrid)

Current Applications & Technical Environment:

Strong experience in Angular and React
Experience with automation testing tools such as Cypress Playwright etc.
Hands-on experience with Micro Front-End (MFE) architecture
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across sub-divisions

Team Overview:

The team owns and maintains Angular-based applications including micro front-end (MFE) architectures built earlier this year.

Goals for Next Year:

Operationalize and scale the existing Angular MFEs.
Expand to additional use cases (e.g. other money movement scenarios such as RMDs Required Minimum Distributions).
Transition new builds from Angular to React going forward.

Technical Stack:

Front-End: Angular (current) React (future)

Architecture: Micro Front-End (MFE)

Hosting: AWS (MFEs are hosted in AWS)

Backend Interaction: Each MFE has a BFF (Backend for Frontend) layer. APIs built in JavaScript (not Java). Java/mainframe experience not required.

Upgrades: Frameworks are regularly updated to the latest Angular/React versions.

Core Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain front-end applications (Angular React transition).
Maintain and expand existing micro front-end applications.
Design and build new React-based MFEs for upcoming use cases.
Collaborate closely with Workplace and PI tech teams.
Work within an AWS-hosted environment.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in Angular and React (all new development is in React).
Familiarity with Micro Front-End (MFE) architecture.
AWS knowledge (hosting/deployment experience preferred).
Ability to interface effectively with JavaScript-based APIs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Familiarity with Java or mainframe systems (not mandatory).
Experience transitioning from Angular to React.
