Were partnering with a leading senior care organization to find a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a collaborative care team delivering compassionate participant-focused therapy services in both home and clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out therapy programs as guided by a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Support in collecting clinical metrics like vitals mobility ranges and strength assessments.
- Work closely with the rehab team to deliver tailored activities aligned with individual care plans.
- Assist with coordination of therapy sessions appointment scheduling and administrative tracking.
- Ensure upkeep of therapy-related equipment and tools.
- Document therapy procedures and interventions such as use of assistive devices cognitive/motor skill training endurance exercises and ADL support always following the OTs care plan.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
- (If applicable) International degrees must be evaluated to U.S. educational standards.
- Active California OTA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- At least 2 years of experience working in a clinical environment with elderly or high-needs populations.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Strong understanding of best practices for treating medically complex senior participants.
