Job Title: Lead Java Developer
Location: Charlotte NC (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite per Week)

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Java Developer with deep technical expertise and proven experience leading development teams. The role demands someone who can balance strong individual contribution with leadership responsibilities - overseeing project delivery managing client interactions and guiding both onshore and offshore teams toward successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design and development of enterprise-grade Java applications ensuring scalability performance and reliability.
Own end-to-end project delivery - from requirements analysis through deployment and production support.
Act as the primary onshore lead coordinating with client stakeholders and offshore teams.
Conduct code reviews enforce best practices and maintain development quality across the team.
Drive Agile ceremonies track deliverables and proactively manage risks dependencies and timelines.
Provide technical mentorship and foster collaboration within the engineering team.

Required Skills & Experience

12 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development.
Strong expertise in Spring Boot Microservices RESTful APIs and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) preferred.
Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools (Git Jenkins Maven) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
Prior experience leading distributed (onshore/offshore) development teams.
Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

Hybrid model: 3 days onsite per week at Charlotte NC.
Requires a proactive delivery-driven professional capable of both coding and leading from the front.
