We operate two turnkey machine shops and two fabrication shops providing field services for all types of pumps. Our capabilities cater to various fluid handling system markets including oil & gas water treatment power generation mining pulp & paper food & beverage and chemical & petrochemical industries.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Machine Shop Manager located in Corpus Christi TX. The Machine Shop Manager will oversee day-to-day operations in the machine shop ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output. Responsibilities include managing a team of machinists coordinating with other departments maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The manager will also be responsible for scheduling budgeting and meeting production targets.

Qualifications

Experience in machine shop operations including knowledge of machining processes and equipment maintenance
Team management and leadership skills with the ability to train motivate and supervise staff
Strong organizational and scheduling skills to ensure operational efficiency and timely project completion
Proficiency with budgeting cost control and resource allocation
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations applicable to machine shop environments
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
Experience in the pump industry is a plus
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
