Job Summary

About the Role: Mechanic
The Mechanic is directly responsible for the preparation and build-up of race cars. This role involves activities both in the workshop and abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the correct build-up of race cars
Participate in daily weekly and monthly planning of build-up schedules
Communicate daily plans with the Chief Mechanic
Support test and race activities as required
Maintain a professional and clean appearance of race cars and equipment
Keep the work area clean and organized and encourage others to do the same
Act as a mentor to less experienced team members to ensure quality control and promote a positive learning environment
Professionally represent the team and its partners on and off the track promoting a positive team culture
Desired Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a mechanic with GTP cars
Ability to serve as part of the pit stop crew (gunner or wheeler)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work at the highest standards
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines with minimal supervision
Good communication skills enthusiasm and adaptability
Strong team player
Fluency in English
Knowledge of motorsport electrical standards; high-voltage experience (level 2 or 3) is a plus
