Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling services to clients in both English and Haitian Creole or Spanish.
Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients.
Facilitate support groups focused on mental health wellness and community resources.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to provide comprehensive care.
Maintain detailed and accurate case notes documenting client interactions and progress.
Stay informed about current best practices and developments in mental health care to provide the best support to clients.

Must possess a current LICSW or LMHC license in good standing.
Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole is required with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling in a community setting.
Strong understanding of cultural competencies and the unique challenges faced by diverse populations.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining client records.
Commitment to professional development and continuous education in the field of mental health.
