Job Description:
- Required Knowledge and worked on Gear Shifter Interface Management Drive Modes Control Torque Control Functionality for Conv and ePT.
- Knowledge on Gear Shitters Drive Modes Terrian Modes Torque calculations ePT motor Torque Management
- Knowledge on PT ePT Transmission shift schedules and Driveline Torque Calculations.
- Performing powertrain function analysis and function decomposition
- Requirement elicitation activities to gather Regulatory requirements environmental and electrical parameters & associated corporate specifications etc.
- Propulsion system high level functional requirement artifact creation in IBM DOORS/IBM DOORS Next Gen (DNG) including attribute classifications.
- Propulsion System Operating Modes Identification Analysis and Documentation in DNG.
- Propulsion system EOL Service requirements (IORoutineDID) defines for propulsion components
- Perform System Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (SFMEA) for Propulsion system functions and identify the safety requirement
- Participate in Agile Methodology to plan RASI deliverable timing and identify potential risks.
- Develop simulation/virtual models for specific propulsion features/functions using MATLAB SysML Rhapsody.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Electrical Aerospace Electronics Engineering and other related Engineering degrees
- Minimum 5 years experience in conventional powertrain development Experience in Diesel Engines Preferred).
- Good understanding on overall vehicle dynamics and vehicle system functioning
- Good understanding automotive electrical sensors Switch and actuators system functioning.
- Expertise with automotive communication protocols such as CAN LIN along with OBD standards.
- Experience in Function analysis and function decomposition.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office products Outlook Excel Visio PowerPoint
- Proficient in requirement management tools such as IBM Rational DOORs IBM DOORS Next Gen etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Vector Tools for data collection.
- Vehicle Validation or Powertrain Calibration experience.
- Familiarity with Agile project management
- Experience with overall vehicle development cycle and Change management process.
- Good communication skills able to lead meetings with cross functional team
