Experience Required
More than 10 years experience and in-depth knowledge of Product Control and the Finance Operations capability with conceptual understanding of its principles/ theories and core products and business lines that are serviced. Ability to use own judgement to solve problems which may have a significant degree of complexity. Ability to use sophisticated level of communication and negotiation skills to interact with stakeholders and strategic partners across multiple functions and externally.
More than 10 years experience in leading the Product Control team in the performance of their duties and determine the people strategy of the function with the support of People and Culture. Develop and maintain a a high performing team by providing adequate support guidance and training and where required effectively manage poor performance and ensure succession planning is in place.
More than 10 years experience in overseeing and ensuring that required financial control frameworks are in place and applied consistently across the function in accordance with up to date control and governance rules and regulations and where required manage and resolve any escalated risk. Act as the primary face-off for internal and external audit for the Finance function ensuring audit requirements are met and the governance and compliance of CIB is maintained.
