Were currently expanding our field operations team and are looking for a skilled Field Service Automation Engineer to support install and maintain our automation systems at customer sites.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Install commission and troubleshoot automation and control systems (PLC SCADA HMI etc.) at client sites
- Provide on-site technical support and training to clients
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and modifications
- Document service visits prepare reports and maintain service records
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during fieldwork
- Travel to customer locations sometimes at short notice
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Automation or a related field
- Proven experience with automation systems (e.g. Siemens Allen-Bradley and Schneider Electric)
- Hands-on experience in programming and troubleshooting PLCs HMIs and SCADA systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel frequently
