An excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join one of NIs leading manufacturers at an exciting time of rapid growth. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for developing designing and improving manufacturing and production processes

The Role

Develop processes and execute plans into practice
Collaborate with engineering regarding product design & changes to ensure effective production methods
Drive continuous improvement within the manufacturing process flows to ensure quality delivery and cost goals are achieved
Implement quality systems perform root cause analysis (8D) manage NCRs and ensure compliance with industry standards
Maintain SOPs process documentation and generate performance reports to guide improvements
Perform time studies for accurate production times and costs and to provide data for operational decisions.
Design and develop manufacturing processes for existing and new products and related fixtures tooling and equipment thats consistent with zero defect level and low product cost.

The Person

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar subject
Good understanding of Lean Six Sigma and PFMEA
3 years experience in a similar role
Ability to read engineering drawings with a good knowledge of CAD
